PaceBench respects your data. Here's exactly what we access, store, and never do — in plain language.

What we access on Strava

When you connect Strava, we read only the activities and profile fields you authorize through Strava's own permission screen. We never see or store your Strava password. You choose which activities to share.

What we write back

Only the plugins you turn on append data — weather, routes, training load, pace zones — to the description of activities you allow. Nothing else is changed, and you can disable any plugin at any time. Your existing activities are never rewritten unless you ask.

What we store

Your Strava access tokens (encrypted at rest) so we can sync on your behalf, your plugin settings, and — only if you provide it — an email address when you request early access or join the waitlist. The free tools (Pacing Plan, Route Art) run without an account and store nothing about you.

Cookies

A session cookie keeps you signed in, and a short-lived invite cookie is used during early access. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Who we share with

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties except Strava (the source of the data) and our infrastructure providers who host the app and database on our behalf.

Your control

Disconnect at any time from Settings — that deletes your stored Strava tokens. To delete your account and any associated data entirely, email us and we'll remove it.
